About Innominate

What is Innominate?

Innominate is the 2017 Eastercon, the British National Science Fiction Convention. Eastercon's have been held over the Easter weekend every year since 1955 and is a regular gathering place for science fiction fans from around the UK and elsewhere to celebrate the genre in all of its formats.

Eastercons stand in a long tradition which we intend to celebrate, while aiming to bring in new elements too. The convention will cover books, film, television, art and costume and the programme will include talks, discussions, exhibits, workshops and other entertainment.

Committee and Staff

Innominate is run by a highly experiences team of unpaid volunteers who have come together to help make sure everyone at the convention has the best possible time in 2017. You can find a list of who we are on our Committee and Staff page. But we are going to need more help, especially at the convention itself, so if you think you can help please visit our Volunteering page.

Innominate is committed to the principles of equality, anti-harassment and inclusion. You can find details of how we will be putting these principles into practice on our Code of Conduct page. We want these principles to apply beforehand as well as during the convention itself, and encourage everyone to read them so that we all understand what we can expect from one another in implementing this approach. If you have any access issues please use our access form on our access page to contact us.
